Where it all Began
Continuing the series of photos of the IIT Kharagpur campus during the course of my final days here…
Well, this photo might appear to be a repetition of sorts after I uploaded this photo a few days ago. But this time the photo hasn’t been taken from a moving train, but while standing right in front of the Old Building of IIT Kharagpur, a place which used to be a detention camp during the British Rule. This was the building where the glorious IIT system had its inception.
Trivia: The building also served as the headquarters of the Bomber Command of the U.S. 20th Air Force during World War II.

@mennomenno.. Yes.. totally agree over that... Its not an easy job taking the pic from a train moving on a distant track!

btw.. don't ignore the main building.. u will see how beautiful the main building looks as well.. just wait!! :)
