Hello and thanks for stumbling across my website.

I am Sumit Kumar, currently working at John F Welch Technology Centre, the research and development centre of General Electric in Bangalore. I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. I did my Masters in Thermal Science and Engineering and that remains my field of specialization and interest. More about my work in this field on this page.

Apart from this my interests lie in photography and graphics designing. I can do a bit of coding too, but not much lately apart from writing some tits and bits for this website. I like to travel a lot and most of my holidays and vacations are taken up by visits to places around. Some of the nice photos I have taken can be seen here. I consider myself a big follower of cricket and take special pleasure in keeping track of all stats and records.
