Indeed, Patel has been a very important and a memorable chapter in my (and I am sure in a lot of others peoples' too) life. Even though you people had or are having this feeling when you have left or are leaving this place, I am already beginning to have this feeling because I have always seen my batch as one... right from the Patel-MS chaos.. and now that a lot of people are not going to be here by the time i return here after summers, I am already experiencing the feeling that you people are... and rightly said sandy, whenever and wherever we meet, we will always relive the moments and memories we have spent together here, and the links formed here are definately unbreakable... Yo Patel!! :)

Yes, Sandy.. I too just hope that this fire keeps burning in heart of all those who have ever lived at this place. This is just an amazing feeling which I am afraid I'll realise in its complete sense of reality only after a few days, when I have left this place. But yes, Patel as has been so far, will remain in our hearts for as long as we live...

Pretty much the same feeling which was burning within me when I was saying my goodbyes. I know many people who grew out of Patel shortly after leaving the Puri gate with their bag and baggage and I can't understand how. For one, I still feel the desperation to be back to Patel 'coz somehow I feel that - That's the place where I belong. Every corner of Patel has been imbued with some memory which carries with itself a fragrance of a past that will never knock on my door again - but I can't just stop trying to seek for a chance which would be take me back to those again. I haven't grown out of Patel and I wish Patelians never do so that next time when we meet, in whichever part of the world, some memories of a by-gone past take us back to the place, "...jahan yaar hain, rang hain, fursat hai..."
The fire which burns in me, which in all probability is still burning live in many of seniors will continue to burn in my juniors, at least...am sure and it is this fire which will keep on urging us towards "the pursuit of overall excellence" and "forging of an eternal link with the community". The bond which was there between us fellow Patelians will remain for a long and will survive the vicissitudes of time and for all that existed between us all, for all the excitement, for the all the passion, for all the time and for all the hours...I can only say: YO PATEL... :)
